Creamfields Adds DJ Academy to 2026 Lineup
05 November 2026
For Music Lovers and Aspiring DJs
Greater-than-ever entertainment offerings drive the festival to appeal to new audiences. Music festival Creamfields has expanded its 2026 entertainment options to include the DJ Academy, an educational hub where music lovers and aspiring DJs can learn from industry experts.
The DJ Academy will offer a range of DJ classes, seminars and courses, giving attendees the chance to sharpen their skills and gain insights from some of the best musicians in the business. Creamfields has not yet released full details, but says more information will be available soon.
Located within the Electric Avenue area of the Downtown village, the DJ Academy will form part of a diverse entertainment mix that includes Bingo Bingo, Mass Karaoke, The Wakey Wakey Creamfields Quiz, the Inflatable Church and an Indoor Arcade. The 2026 Downtown experience is the festival's most ambitious to date, returning to the resort after a multi-year hiatus with a focus on combining fitness, wellness, sport, entertainment and interactive experiences.
The addition of the DJ Academy underscores Creamfields' commitment to evolving and broadening its appeal, appealing to new audiences beyond its core dance music following. Festival director Lee Ellis says interest in the DJ Academy platform surged 500% following its announcement, as music lovers explored its content.
For the first time, Creamfields encouraged fans to try the DJ Academy app before the festival. This signaled the event's new educational direction, offering opportunities to develop skills and explore creativity, Ellis says.
Creamfields 2026 runs from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August at Daresbury Park, with 80,000 fans expected to attend the 20-year anniversary edition. More than 250 artists will perform across multiple stages, according to the festival website.
