LMHR is an independent British music magazine for people who go to gigs and festivals, dance to UK club music and want to play or sing themselves. It answers the practical questions: how to get into a sold-out show, what the resale rules are, which festival suits you, where UK garage and grime came from, which exam board to choose.

Every guide is checked against primary sources: gov.uk and the Competition and Markets Authority, consumer bodies, the NHS and hearing charities, official festival, venue and ticketing sites, exam boards and music history references. The sources are listed under each article. Prices, fees and dates change, so the magazine sends readers to the official source instead of printing them.

About this address

lmhr.org.uk carried a small music blog before the magazine: posts about UK DJs, guitar and singing lessons, concert tickets, festivals, home studios and promoting a band. Those posts are kept in the archive.

Independence

LMHR is not the Love Music Hate Racism campaign and is not linked to it or to any other organisation using the same initials. The magazine does not sell tickets, run events or give lessons. Partner material, when it appears, is labelled and kept apart from the editorial sections. To get in touch, write to [email protected].
